California family medicine: follow the patient beyond the visit
Family medicine offer questions in this project focus on the age range, procedures, obstetric or inpatient duties and responsibility between visits. Begin by asking which of those services the California job actually includes. Broad training does not mean every clinic appointment has the same scope. Put inbox messages, refills, results and urgent follow-up beside scheduled sessions in the written description. A wage headline alone does not explain who performs that work or whether the agreement sets aside paid time for it.
A per-diem or locum clinic arrangement needs someone to receive the work left after the last visit. Ask who handles a result arriving after your session and how that person gains access to the record. For telehealth, identify the patient location and the local route for examination or escalation. Keep those questions separate from compensation arithmetic. An outpatient job advertisement elsewhere on the page is a selected example of written terms, not evidence that your prospective clinic uses the same schedule or benefits.
